Indiana hospital employee posts on TikTok that she alters patients’ ethnicities from ‘Israeli’ to ‘unidentified’

Updated

A hospital employee appeared to boast that she changes patient records when their ethnicity is Israeli, in a video posted to the popular video creation application, TikTok.

Mona Abu Amrah posted the video, titled “Israel who? Free Palestine”, where she said she changes the aforementioned patients’ ethnicities to “unidentified.”

Abu Amrah was reportedly an employee of Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana, but the hospital says she’s no longer working at the facility. It’s unclear when she left and the story will be updated if the hospital follows up to TheDarkWire’s request for additional comment.

“In accordance with our mission and values, we are committed to providing care for all persons, advocating for a more just and compassionate society and condemning all forms of racism and discrimination. The third-party contingent worker who posted this troubling video is no longer working in our facilities,” Ascension St. Vincent told this reporter Thursday evening.

The following video of Impicciche’s employee was first shared on Twitter by watchdog group StopAntisemitism.org, who wrote, “Hey @StVincentIN your employee Mona Abu Amrah appears to be quite smitten with herself as she illegally alters patient records. Please take a look into this ASAP!”

  1. There isn’t any such ethnicity as “Israeli;” and how many Israelis are in that hospital in Indiana, anyhow? She’s full of s**t.
